Personal Security Training and Swine Flu
With the latest press reports stating over 55,000 case and 29 deaths attributed to swine flu in the UK alone, it is now necessary for all business to take preventative measures to help try and slow the spread of this disease.
If you book one of our training courses and find that in the two weeks prior to the training course that you display EITHER any symptoms associated with swine flu or are diagnosed with swine flu then we respectfully request that you do not attend said training. We will happily book you on to the next course at no extra cost.
There are several simple things you can do to help protect yourself from this disease.
- Don’t share anything – mobile phones, towels, pens (in places like bank etc), etc
- Wash hands frequently
- Carry a mini hand sanitizer and use it. Available from places like Boots & Tesco for about £1
- If you work in a large corporations, bring in a policy where you stop shaking hands with fellow co-workers throughout your business
Remember that swine flu symptoms may mimic those of regular flu and cold symptoms.
